Panic Has Broken Out In Russia Over The "Ukrainian 'Poseidons'"

Propagandists stated on live television that they are expecting strikes of unprecedented intensity against Russia.

Pro-Kremlin propagandists acknowledge Ukraine’s growing ability to strike targets in Russia and add that the current strikes are only the beginning, while Ukrainian ballistic missiles and mini-submarines—reminiscent of Russia’s “Poseidon” nuclear torpedo—will begin operating deeper into Russian territory, writes “Dialog.UA”.

Russian political analyst and propagandist Andrei Klintsevich made this statement on the air of “Komsomolskaya Pravda” radio.

He recalled how some propagandists in Russia had previously mocked the name of the Ukrainian “Flamingo” cruise missile, but now this missile—whose warhead weighs over a metric ton—is successfully striking targets on Russian territory.

Klintsevich went on to predict strikes by Ukrainian ballistic missiles. “Ballistic missiles with a 600–900-kg warhead will be launched—this is serious. This isn’t 50 kg,” he said.

In addition, the propagandist cited intelligence data from the aggressor country, according to which “Ukraine is mass-producing heavy unmanned mini-submarines,” which are large in size and capable of traveling thousands of kilometers carrying a metric ton of explosives.

In response to a follow-up question from another propagandist Ivan Pankin asking whether he was referring to unmanned boats, Klintsevich replied that this was a much more powerful weapon and compared it to the Russian “Poseidons.” “No, these are torpedoes, something like our ‘Poseidon,’” the propagandist stated.

It should be noted that, according to statements by the Russian side, the “Poseidon” is an unmanned underwater vehicle powered by a nuclear propulsion system. Its intended purpose is to strike ports and naval bases both through its own destructive capabilities and through the “tsunami generated by the explosion.”
