There's no light anywhere.
On the night of August 20, power went out across the entire territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea. Prior to that, explosions were heard in several cities.
Initial reports indicated that Kerch, Feodosia, Simferopol, and Sevastopol were without power, but it later became clear that the power outage affected the entire peninsula. This was reported by the monitoring channel “Crimean Wind”.
“UPDATE. There is a total blackout in Crimea; there is no power anywhere,” analysts write.
Prior to this, monitoring channels had reported detecting a large number of drones in various regions of Crimea. In Saki, Kerch, the Nizhnegorsk District, and Feodosia, explosions and intense activity by the occupiers’ mobile fire teams were heard around midnight.
According to the “ATESH” partisan movement, powerful explosions accompanied by drone attacks were also heard in Simferopol and Sevastopol. In Simferopol, flames were also observed near the power plant.
Meanwhile, as of this writing, the occupying authorities in Crimea have not commented on the large-scale power outage on the peninsula. The so-called governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhayev merely warned of the threat posed by drones but made no comment on the consequences of the explosions.
