In Moldova, drone debris has once again been discovered following a series of explosions that occurred during a nighttime attack by Russian occupiers on Odesa. On the morning of October 3, explosions rocked four districts in Moldova. Police discovered drone debris, and in one instance, dry vegetation caught fire following an explosion.
The Moldovan police reported the incidents in the Keușeni, Ștefan Vodă, Novoaneni, and Hîncești districts, according to Noi.md. At around 7:50 a.m., law enforcement officers received a report of an explosion near the town of Keușen. Thick smoke was observed at the scene, and drone debris was discovered. Fragments of the drone were also found near the village of Dubovka and the town of Hîncești. Another site with debris was found between the villages of Delacau and Puhecen in the Novoaneni District.

What else is known about the explosions
Another explosion occurred near the village of Krokmaz in the Ștefan Vodă District. According to police, a drone exploded in a vineyard near a farm building. The incident caused dry vegetation to catch fire and shattered the windows of the building. No injuries have been reported.
The Moldovan Ministry of Defense, in turn, stated that surveillance systems detected several drones flying near Anenii Noi, Ștefan Voda, Hîncești, Tudori, and Căușeni. According to the ministry, police and National Army personnel were dispatched to the sites of the incidents. The Moldovan Ministry of Defense linked these events to the Russian Federation’s massive attacks on Ukraine.
Law enforcement agencies continue to document these incidents and investigate all the circumstances. Authorities have urged residents not to approach the sites of the explosions and not to touch debris or other suspicious objects.
