Three Russian citizens are banned from entering the country.
Latvia has included three citizens of the Russian Federation in the black list of persons banned from entering the country, including, in particular, the former Minister of Culture Mikhail Shvidkoy.
It is stated in the message of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, reports "European truth".
It is noted that the relevant decision was made by the head of the Latvian Foreign Ministry Baiba Brazhe on the basis of paragraph 2 of Article 61 of the Immigration Law.
In addition to former Minister Shvidki, the list of undesirable persons also included Anastasia Karneeva - the daughter of Deputy Director General of Rostec Nikolai Volobuev.
Latvia also banned the entry of the daughter of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov Yekaterina Vinokurova.
The ban on entry to Latvia is imposed for an indefinite period of time, the foreign ministry said.
