Net Inflows Into Bitcoin Exchange-traded Funds Have Reached $1 Billion

This is the highest figure since October 2025.

Net inflows into the BTC ETF totaled $1 billion as of September 21, according to data from SoSoValue. This is the highest figure since October 6, 2025. Over the past three trading days, net inflows reached nearly $1.6 billion.

This massive capital inflow impacted the asset’s price the day before. By the end of Monday, the Bitcoin price exceeded $87,360, hitting a new high since late January. Over four days, the price of the leading cryptocurrency rose by 14%. Despite a minor technical correction on the morning of September 22, Bitcoin’s price remained above $86,000.

Aggressive buying began after statements by representatives of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), who stated their readiness to implement their own regulation of the crypto market even without the passage of the Clarity Act. The price rally was further fueled by a massive liquidation of short positions—according to Coinglass, the volume of short liquidations from September 18–22 totaled approximately $870 million.
