Ukrainian defenders have achieved new successes on the Lyman front. This was reported by analysts at DeepState.
It is noted that the Ukrainian Defense Forces have liberated the settlements of Shandrigolovo and Derilovo in the Donetsk region. In addition, Ukrainian forces have advanced further east from the liberated Shandrigolovo. It should be noted that, according to the map, the total area of Ukrainian territory liberated in this direction now amounts to 43.5 square kilometers.

As a reminder, DeepState analysts previously reported on the liberation of the settlement of Sredneye in this sector. In addition, experts noted that Ukrainian forces managed to halt the Russian Federation’s offensive in the Shandrigolovo area.
Meanwhile, Petr Gorbatenko, deputy commander of the Third Army Corps—whose troops are currently holding this section of the front—had previously noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are continuing their offensive in the Liman area. He reported that Ukrainian units are conducting offensive operations as part of Operation “Vivaldi” and are liberating new settlements.
“The enemy in this sector has been defeated and disorganized; it is attempting to redeploy its special forces units there to plug the breach. But they are simply being ground into mincemeat, achieving no success whatsoever. Russian generals are trying to cover up their lies and their failure at the cost of human lives,” he said, describing the situation on this front.
