Major fires broke out at a warehouse complex, a thermal power plant, and an oil refinery.
On the night of September 20, the Moscow Region of the Russian Federation came under a massive drone attack. As a result of the attack, a massive fire broke out at a warehouse complex in the town of Sofino, according to OBOZ.UA.
There are also reports of damage to the oil refinery in Kapotna and a strike on the thermal power plant in Lyubertsy. Footage from the scenes, filmed by eyewitnesses, has been compiled by the Telegram channel Exilenova+.
Attack on Sofino
As a result of a massive drone attack in the town of Sofino in the Moscow Region, a massive fire has been raging since last night.

“There are reports of an attack on warehouse facilities,” Exilenova+ noted.

FP-1 drones flew into the Moscow region of Russia last night.
“Defense forces used FP-1 drones to destroy yet another warehouse complex in the Moscow region. According to preliminary reports, warehouses belonging to the company ‘Modern Warehouse Technologies’ are on fire,” Fire Point, the manufacturer of these drones, reported this morning.

Reports have appeared on some Russian news channels about a fire at the “Sofino” logistics technology park, which has a total area of approximately 850,000 square meters.

The footage of the Russian "Pantsir" air-defense system against the backdrop of a massive fire looked particularly epic.

Attack on Lyubertsy
Things were also chaotic in the city of Dzerzhinsky, part of the Lyubertsy urban district southeast of Moscow.
According to preliminary reports, explosions were heard there in the area of Thermal Power Plant No. 22.

At the same time, in the midst of the attack, residents of the Moscow Region also observed the “effective” work of the air defense system, which was striking directly at residential high-rises.
Attack on Kapotnya
Drones also reached Kapotnya last night, where the Moscow Oil Refinery is located.
According to the OSINT channel world.militares, the attack caused a fire to break out at or near the ELOU-AVT-6 unit.

The Moscow Oil Refinery is one of the key facilities ensuring fuel supplies to Moscow and the Moscow Region.
Its capacity is approximately 11–12 million metric tons of crude oil per year (though some sources cite a nominal capacity of up to 14 million metric tons).
