The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 7 of Wildberries' 10 largest warehouses in Russia.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out strikes and shut down seven of Wildberries’ ten largest logistics centers in Russia as part of a strike campaign aimed at weakening Russia’s defense-industrial base and dual-use logistics network. This is is reported by analysts at the Institute for the Study of War, who explain the consequences of these strikes.
For example, on the night of August 16, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck Wildberries’ largest logistics hub (covering an area of 250,000 square meters) in the Kaledino Industrial Park in Podolsk, Moscow Oblast, approximately 420 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.
Wildberries’ press office confirmed that the Ukrainian strikes caused a fire at the facility and forced the company to reorganize its logistics chains.
Also, on the night of August 15–16, Ukrainian forces struck a warehouse in Domodedovo, Moscow Region, approximately 430 kilometers from the border.
In early August 2026, Reuters reported that Ukrainian strikes had destroyed at least 1.18 million square meters of Wildberries’ warehouse space—one-fifth of Wildberries’ total warehouse capacity at the time— and since then, Ukrainian strikes against the company have only intensified.
ISW analysts emphasize that the Ukrainian strike campaign against Wildberries’ logistics centers is putting additional pressure on the Russian economy and its already overburdened air defense system.
“Russia’s inability to protect Wildberries’ largest logistics hubs, despite the ongoing Ukrainian campaign against such targets, demonstrates that Russia lacks sufficient air defense resources to protect all necessary infrastructure in the rear,” the analysts note.
