Ukrainian drones are now imposing their own "sanctions" practically everywhere.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Ukrainian drones are now capable of striking targets behind enemy lines at a distance of 3,000 kilometers. The Ukrainian leader thanked domestic engineers for this achievement.
This was reported by Charter97.org, citing Zelenskyy’s address on his Telegram channel.
In his evening address, the President of Ukraine thanked the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in particular the Special Operations Forces. Zelenskyy noted that “long-range sanctions have reached the Tyumen region in Russia.” This refers to an oil refinery in that region.
The distance from this Tyumen oil refinery to the Ukrainian border is 2,000 kilometers. Zelenskyy also reported that the target was struck thanks to new, upgraded FP drones.
“Now our drones can reach targets 3,000 kilometers away. I am grateful to the engineers at Fire Point,” said the President of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian leader emphasized that the plan for Ukraine’s long-range strikes is being carried out. Zelenskyy also reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are continuing to carry out medium-range strikes against military targets in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
“It is important that this is truly impacting Russian military logistics,” said the President of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian president’s statement also came in the context of the recent ultimatum he issued to Belarusian dictator Lukashenko. The President of Ukraine noted that there are relay stations operating on Belarusian territory that are used to guide Russian drone attacks on Ukrainian territory. He called for their dismantling and, failing that, promised that Ukraine would do so on its own. Lukashenko was given one week to dismantle the relay stations.
