An IRGC gunboat, out of contact, opened fire on the ship.
In the area of the Strait of Hormuz, 15 nautical miles northeast of Oman, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) attacked a container ship on April 22. This was reported by the UK's Maritime Trade Operations Center.
"The captain of the container ship reported that one IRGC gunboat approached the vessel without making contact, then opened fire on the vessel, causing serious damage to the bridge. No fire or environmental damage was reported. All crew are reportedly safe," the Center said.

Reminder, a two-week truce between the US and Iran ended on April 21. Donald Trump promised the day before to drop "many bombs" on Iran if Tehran and Washington did not make a deal.
