Drones Attacked A Russian Refinery In Syzran

Russian air defenses hit "their own."

On the night of April 22, attack drones attacked the area near an oil refinery in Russia's Syzran, Focus wrote.

Numerous explosions were heard in the city itself, Russian publication Astra reported, citing local residents.

"ASTRA's OSINT analysis confirmed that the video was taken from "50 Let Oktyabrya" avenue in Syzran - a house at 50 Zvezdnaya Street was in the frame. It should be noted that the local oil refinery is about 3 kilometers away," the report says.

At the same time, videos of both the attack itself and the fire in Syzran that broke out after the UAV raid have appeared online.

Samara Region Governor Vladislav Fedorishchev confirmed that drones struck the region, causing the entranceway of an apartment building in Syzran to partially collapse.

At the same time, OSINT channels claim that the collapse of the entranceway in Syzran was the result of a Russian REB.

"Syzran, Samara region. An oil refinery was attacked. While repelling the attack, Russian air defense hit two residential buildings. Again - Russian air defense is the biggest threat to Russian civilians," said the head of the Center for Occupation Studies, Petr Andryushchenko.
