Operation "Vivaldi": The Ukrainian Armed Forces Deployed Weapons Of The Future

An expert revealed details of a revolutionary decision by the Ukrainian military.

In their legendary Operation “Vivaldi,” the Ukrainian Defense Forces employed a new tactic: they used heavy drones to drop robotic systems behind Russian Armed Forces lines. This decision led to success and shaped the course of the war.

This opinion was expressed by the authoritative OSINT expert Clément Molin.

During “Vivaldi,” Ukrainian forces used heavy “Vampire” UAVs to deploy ground-based kamikaze drones into a 10-kilometer zone from the front line. He called this decision a “revolution.”

By saturating the area with their “eyes” and weapons, the Ukrainians were able to track Russian logistics and cut them off. Another key task was identifying and neutralizing enemy drone operators.

“These small ground-based drones are very inexpensive and can be produced in large quantities… It is quite obvious that these platforms represent the future of combat operations. I have a particular preference for large UAVs such as the ‘Vampir’ or ‘Baba Yaga,’ which are capable of performing a variety of demanding tasks, including resupply missions or high-precision strikes,” Molin noted.
