A Drone Attacked A Truck Carrying Watermelons With Belarusian License Plates

A car caught fire on the Bryansk–Gomel highway.

TikTok user Ksenia posted a video showing a truck with Belarusian license plates that was severely damaged by a fire. According to her, her husband was driving, and a drone struck the truck. This happened on the Bryansk–Gomel highway in Russia, reports "Zerkalo".

The footage shows that the truck’s cab and cargo area were burned out. The truck was carrying watermelons. Ksenia captioned the video simply: “Our breadwinner.”

In the post’s description, she wrote that she thanks God that her husband survived and urged her followers to take care of their loved ones and cherish every day. “One question: Why?” the video’s author added.

Judging by Ksenia’s comments, the incident occurred on the evening of Friday, September 25. When asked if it happened on the stretch of road between Klintsy and Mamay (both cities in Russia’s Bryansk Oblast), she answered in the affirmative and wrote that it was a “very powerful drone.” According to her, the driver was about 30 kilometers from the border with Belarus. As Ksenia writes, her husband was rushing home to his family.

One user asked if the car had insurance. “It did, but what’s the point…” the woman replied.

According to the Bryansk Region administration, on the night of September 25–26, the region recorded a massive drone attack. One of the attacks targeted the train station in Klintsy.
