Media Reports: Budanov Is In The U.S., Where He Will Hold A Series Of Talks On Ending The War

The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine and former head of the Main Intelligence Directorate Kirill Budanov is currently in the United States, where he will hold a series of closed-door talks on strengthening support for Ukraine and further steps toward ending the war.

This was reported by "Unian" learned from its own sources in diplomatic circles.

The discussions will cover both security issues and support for Ukraine, as well as further coordination with the U.S. side within the framework of the negotiation process.

Details of the meetings and the list of participants have not yet been disclosed.

According to sources, over the years, Budanov has built strong, direct ties with the U.S. side, which allow him to maintain a separate, confidential channel of communication.

As a reminder, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is also currently in the U.S. along with a Ukrainian delegation.
