Zelenskyy: The First Results On The Path To Peace Could Come By The End Of September

Americans need to take decisive action before winter.

Ukraine is looking forward to a meeting with U.S. officials in late September. The first results in the peace process with Russia could come as early as the end of the month.

According to RBC-Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this statement at a press conference with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

According to the head of state, there will most likely not be any truly substantive negotiations during the Russian State Duma elections.

“But at the end of September, we will have the opportunity to meet with the American team in New York. And throughout this period, my national security advisors are in daily contact with the U.S. team; they’re discussing what outcomes might be possible, how to prepare for the trilateral meeting, and what the result might be,” he added.

Zelenskyy clarified that all of our international partners are currently raising the issue of agricultural shipments that have been blocked by Russian attacks in the Black Sea.

“We believe in peace, and we will continue moving in that direction. There is only one way to stop this war; there is no other path. Therefore, I think we will be able to achieve the first results by the end of September,” the president emphasized.

He added that the Americans need to take strong measures before winter. This is necessary not only for Ukraine, but also for Europe and the entire world.
