The Turkish official arrived at the talks with the head of Gazprom soaking wet.
On August 24, Alexander Turchin made a working visit to St. Petersburg. Apparently, he flew there specifically to meet with the chairman of the board of PJSC “Gazprom,” Alexey Miller, writes "Solidarnast".
At least, no other items on the Belarusian prime minister’s itinerary have been reported.

Both sides are keeping the details of the discussion between Turchin and Miller under wraps. Official statements from the Belarusian government contain vague wording, stating that the topic of discussion was “prospects for the development of cooperation.”
It is telling, however, that it was not the head of “Gazprom” who traveled to Minsk, but rather the Belarusian prime minister who went to St. Petersburg.

A security guard standing nearby made a half-hearted attempt to shield the guest from Belarus from the rain just two meters from the boarding ramp.
