Under D’Amato’s guidance and with Ewald’s support, Tyson began his boxing career. He went on to become one of the most famous heavyweights in history.
Tyson also spoke out publicly in support of Ukraine after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion. In June 2022, he recorded a video message to the Ukrainian people, saying: “People of Ukraine, I am with you!”
That same month, Tyson spoke about the war on the show hosted by American TV personality Alex Jones. According to the boxer, what is happening has become “a war against humanity.” He also noted that Russia is losing the information war.
