Al Jazeera: Ukraine Has Cut Crimea Off From Russia

And this is just the beginning.

Ukrainian strikes on Russian logistics, energy, and fuel infrastructure have led to power outages and gasoline shortages in occupied Crimea, according to Al Jazeera.

According to the publication, the Ukrainian campaign has effectively cut off the peninsula from Russia.

Operation “MoLoChKa” by the Unmanned Systems Forces against Russia’s “shadow fleet” has complicated oil and fuel deliveries to the peninsula.

The Ukrainian side has reported the destruction of more than 170 vessels in the Azov and Black Seas, and this is not the end—the campaign continues.

The head of the Crimean occupation administration Sergey Aksyonov acknowledged problems with gasoline sales and power outages. The region has begun using generators and imposing restrictions on businesses.

Al Jazeera notes that Kyiv is putting significant pressure on the Russian economy. At the same time, Ukraine is ramping up production of its own drones and missile systems—which implies even more challenges for Moscow in the future.

Crimea faces even more hardship, as the Ukrainian campaign appears to be gaining momentum.
