The U.S. Secret Service responded to a video containing threats.

An Iranian state television channel aired a video containing threats against Barron Trump—the youngest son of U.S. President Donald Trump. The U.S. Secret Service stated that it is aware of the video and considers it a potential threat.

This was reported by CNN.

Following the assassination of Ali Khamenei, radical Iranian media outlets have repeatedly threatened Trump and his family. Previously, Melania Trump was the target; however, this appears to be the first time their son Barron has been publicly targeted.

“The U.S. Secret Service is aware of this video and is investigating anything that could be perceived as a threat to those under our protection,” said Secret Service spokesperson Nate Herring.

Citing operational security concerns, the Secret Service declined to discuss the matter.

The nearly three-minute video begins with the caption in English: “Where to kill Barron Trump?!” It features stylized graphic depictions of locations frequented by the younger Trump, specifically Trump Tower in New York.

At the end of the video, a narrator states that people are “eagerly awaiting our $10 million reward.”

Last weekend, the video was broadcast by the Iranian state-run television and radio company Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), which is considered close to the radical wing of the Iranian regime. The head of this organization is appointed directly by Iran’s Supreme Leader.

According to the source, security measures are constantly reviewed and adjusted based on information about potential threats received by the Secret Service, other government agencies, the police, and the intelligence services of other countries.

On August 11, The Washington Post, citing sources, reported that U.S. President Donald Trump left Turkey after the NATO summit as part of a carefully planned covert operation—rather than following protocol—to avoid the threat of an assassination attempt by Iran.

According to the newspaper, Trump was hidden in a food truck at the airport and then secretly transported to a military aircraft.
