Lukashenko Flew To Russia To Meet With Putin

The meeting will take place today.

According to Lukashenko’s press office, he is scheduled to meet with Putin today, June 26.

The two leaders are expected to discuss “key issues on the agenda of Belarusian-Russian cooperation, as well as the situation in the region and the world.”

It is worth noting that the Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated on June 24 that “contacts between Putin and Lukashenko” would take place in the near future, but he added that the Belarusian dictator would not be flying to Moscow.
