From Storm Shadow To "Flamingo": What Was Used To Strike The Plant In Voronezh

New details about the attack have emerged.

The Voronezh-based "Sborka" semiconductor plant was attacked on Monday afternoon, June 22, during a massive Ukrainian strike on Voronezh.

This facility is one of the key players in Russia’s microelectronics industry and is critically important to the Russian military-industrial complex.

According to monitoring channels and analysts, “Sborka” was attacked by Ukrainian missiles. However, different sources provide varying information about the weapons used: ranging from the British-made Storm Shadow to the Ukrainian-made “Flamingo,” writes “Dialog.UA”.

The Voronezh plant manufactures semiconductor components, electronic modules, and other microelectronics used in industrial equipment, communication systems, and specialized machinery.

But most importantly, it manufactures key components for Russian weapons systems. In particular, the plant supplies electronic components for the “Pantsir-S1” air defense system, “Iskander-K” missiles, and the Kh-101—weapons that Russia has been using to shell Ukrainian cities for the past five years.
