The President of Ukraine reiterated his ultimatum.
The Lukashenko regime must prove through its actions that it is not assisting Russia in the war against Ukraine, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with TSN "Nedelya".
According to Zelenskyy, mere words from Alexander Lukashenko are no longer enough.
In addition, the Ukrainian president noted that Kyiv has repeatedly demanded that Minsk dismantle the relay stations on Belarusian territory that help Russian drones strike Ukrainian cities with greater precision.
Zelenskyy added that if Lukashenko does not remove the Russian relay stations, Ukraine will do so within a week.
“Let him keep his ‘apology’ to himself. It hasn’t worked since the second day of the war. I explained to him: step number one—no technical support for Russian relay stations,” Zelenskyy said.
“I explained to him: we need to see concrete steps. Step number one—no technical support. Turn off the repeaters, take them down, and show us that they’ve been removed. And then we’ll consider the matter closed,” Zelenskyy said.
Since there was no response to the informal warnings, a public ultimatum followed.
“Since this had been communicated to them repeatedly, we moved on to issuing a public warning. If they don’t take them down, we will. This will happen in a week. It’s either them or us,” Zelenskyy stated.
Earlier, the President of Ukraine issued an ultimatum to Lukashenko: The dictator has seven days to remove the relay stations for Russian drones from Belarusian territory.
