Ukraine Struck Three Of The Five Car Ferries On The Kerch Strait Crossing

There's a traffic jam on the Crimean Bridge.

Ukraine struck three of the five car ferries on the Kerch Strait crossing in Crimea. A video showing three burning vessels was published by the Ukrainian monitoring Telegram channel Exilenova+.

According to the source, the ferries were hit during an attack on the port of “Kavkaz,” which is also currently on fire. Judging by the vessels’ color schemes, these are indeed car ferries, writes “Agency”.

Authorities in the Krasnodar Region have confirmed an attack on only one car ferry. However, the entire crossing has been closed as of today. Officials have recommended using the land route through the annexed territories of Ukraine to travel to Crimea, a route that has been under intense shelling by the Ukrainian military since early May.

Meanwhile, a massive traffic jam involving 700 vehicles has formed on the Crimean Bridge, which remains one of the few routes to the mainland. There is no line at the entrance to Crimea.
