A major fire broke out.

Early in the morning on June 14, drones struck the Yaroslavl Region in Russia, hitting an oil depot in Rybinsk.

In response to the attack on the region, local authorities closed the road leading out of Yaroslavl toward Moscow. This was reported by "Focus" citing Russian media.

Another monitoring resource clarified that the "Temp" oil depot in Rybinsk was targeted by the UAV. It is known that this facility is part of Russia’s strategic reserve system and is designed to store large volumes of fuel. It is also known that this oil depot is a key link in the system for storing and distributing petroleum products in the northeastern part of the Russian Federation.

It is worth noting that prior to this, around 4:00 a.m., the governor of the Yaroslavl Region Mikhail Evraev warned residents of the threat of UAVs appearing in the region.

“Units of the Ministry of Defense and law enforcement agencies are working to repel the attack,” the official wrote.
