Russian Drones Caused Damage To Romania

Romanian Defense Ministry radars detected drones approaching the country's airspace at night, the ministry said.
Two Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft of the British Air Force were taken into the air at 2 a.m. from an airbase in Feteşte.
Population in the county of Tulcea received an air threat warning via the RO-ALERT system at 02:14.
The Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft detected radar contact with a target 1.5 km from Reni, over Ukrainian territory, and the pilots were given permission to engage the drones.
People in the town of Galati reported via the emergency service at 02:31 that an object had fallen. There were no casualties, but there was damage to property.
An outbuilding in one of the farms was hit, as well as an electric pole, without significant damage.
Drone fragments were found in several places in the area, which has been isolated by the Romanian police and the military of the Ministry of Defense.
The Romanian Defense Ministry strongly condemned Russia's irresponsible actions and stressed that these actions are a new challenge to regional security and stability in the Black Sea area.
"Such incidents demonstrate the Russian Federation's disrespect for international law and endanger not only the security of Romanian citizens, but also NATO's collective security," the ministry said.
