In Kiev, A Man Started Shooting With An Automatic Rifle

Police are conducting a sting operation.

A man with an assault rifle has opened fire on people in the Demeyevka neighborhood in Ukraine's Kiev. He is already being pursued by police, unian.net writes.

Some footage released on the web shows the gunman in civilian clothes running down the street and shooting at random passers-by.

The police confirmed the incident. According to preliminary information, one person was killed, there are wounded. The number of injured is specified.

The police are reported to be conducting a special operation to detain the shooter, the police and special unit KORD were sent to the scene.

The residents of Demeyevka are asked to stay at home.
