And now he doesn't know how to deal with her.
The case when Ukrainian fighters captured enemy positions using exclusively unmanned platforms became the first not only during the Russian-Ukrainian war, but also a unique case in world history.
Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin launched a full-scale war against Ukraine, hoping to complete it in a week, but Russian aggression accidentally created Ukrainian high-tech defenses. This was reported by The New York Post.
April 13, President Vladimir Zelensky reported the capture of Russian positions with Ukrainian fighters using only unmanned systems. At the same time, he noted that the case was the first time in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
"In fact, it was the first time in history when fully robotic systems and remotely controlled vehicles captured enemy positions without the help of infantry," the publication noted.
Analysts noted that the Ukrainian military has come up with a completely new way of warfare that is causing significant problems for Russia. The Russian military has suffered heavy human and material losses to advance a few meters, while Ukrainian robotic systems have become increasingly sophisticated.
President Zelensky claims that the autonomous systems have taken part in more than 22,000 combat missions on the front lines, avoiding human losses. The Russian Armed Forces have instead suffered retreat in many parts of the frontline, the publication writes.
How does Putin respond to Ukrainian innovation?"
Vladimir Putin overestimated Russia's capabilities and "took on more than he can pull," the publication says. The Kremlin continues to send convicts, conscripts and mercenaries to the front lines, "luring" Third World citizens to Russia to enlist them in the war against Ukraine.
"Ukraine still needs significant support from the rest of the civilized world, but this much smaller country is standing up to the former superpower on its own," NYP writes.
