A Pro-Z Propagandist Claimed That The Russian Army Is Weak

The occupiers are short on equipment and manpower.
Russian propagandists continue to debunk myths about the size of the aggressor country’s army. Military expert and Colonel Viktor Baranets admitted that the occupiers are unable to make a significant breakthrough on the front lines in Ukraine.
According to him, the invaders need more troops and equipment for a major offensive, but they “have nowhere to get them.” The video was published on the Telegram channel “Sower of the Wind”.
The propagandist was asked whether the Russian army is capable of conducting a full-scale, large-scale operation involving a deep breakthrough of the front line and the encirclement of the enemy. The expert replied that the Russian army currently lacks the capability to carry out such a massive operation.
“To carry out this large-scale military operation, a large force concentration is needed. Well, at least 200,000. And that’s just the troops. You’d also need to bring in artillery, aircraft, and drones—all of which would have to be prepared. And where would you get them?” Baranets lamented.
He added that the situation could be changed, but this would require redeploying forces from other fronts, specifically from the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk fronts. If that happened, those sections of the front would be left unprotected.
The authors of the Telegram channel asked why Russia continues to engage in fruitless positional battles if such tactics are incapable of achieving the stated goal. They also noted that Baranets himself apparently does not know the answer.
As a reminder, Baranets previously reacted emotionally to a listener’s question about the inability of Russian air defense to protect cities from Ukrainian drones. On the air, he effectively admitted that the Russian army has no effective way to counter such attacks, even though efforts to find a solution have been ongoing for several years.
