Operation "Vivaldi" has already achieved its first successes.
The Third Army Corps has launched Operation "Vivaldi" in the north of the Donetsk region and has already cleared several settlements.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a statement by the commander of the Third Army Corps, Brigadier General Andriy Biletsky.
What is known about the “Vivaldi” offensive operation
Under a media blackout, the Ukrainian military eliminated enemy infiltration pockets and cleared 75 square kilometers of territory. Another 10 square kilometers have been de-occupied.
Ukrainian units liberated Sredne and cleared the following areas of infiltration:
Novoselovka
Oleksandrivka
Yarova
the vicinity of Korovyi Yar.
The offensive dealt a crushing blow to the combat effectiveness of Russia’s 20th and 25th Armies. Enemy losses at this stage amount to:
about 1,500 soldiers
more than 12,000 drones
hundreds of armored vehicles, artillery systems, and motor vehicles.
The enemy has changed its logistics
Due to the corps’ strikes, Russian troops have relocated their fuel and lubricant supplies outside Ukraine—to the Voronezh region. A pipeline was laid there, and warehouses were set up.
At the same time, drone units cut off the enemy’s supply routes.
“This Is Only the First Phase”
Brigadier General Andriy Biletsky stated that the ultimate goal of the operation is not limited to reaching the Black Zherebets River.
“There is currently a lot of information in open sources suggesting that the ultimate goal of our offensive operations is to reach the banks of the Black Zherebets River. But our operation is called ‘Vivaldi.’ And as we know, Vivaldi has four seasons. And this is only the first of them. So stay tuned for our official announcements and don’t rush to spoil the surprise. There will be good news,” Biletsky said.
