DW: Zelenskyy Is Ready To Meet With Putin In Miami

The President of Ukraine wants to make concrete decisions.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wants to arrange a face-to-face meeting with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin during the G20 summit in Miami.
This was reported by DW.
According to the Ukrainian president, he will fly to Miami if the Kremlin leader attends the G20 summit.
As is well known, this political event is scheduled for December 2026.
“We have to be there. We need to meet, talk, and make a decision,” Zelenskyy said.
The Ukrainian president also emphasized that what he plans to say to Putin is less important than the results.
“It’s not about the words. What I’ll say to him or what he wants to say to me—it doesn’t matter. The results matter. That’s all,” he said.
The Kremlin has so far refused to say whether the Russian dictator will fly to Miami for the G20 summit. The last time he personally attended a G20 meeting was seven years ago.
Nevertheless, in August, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov received an invitation from the U.S. to participate in the G20 meeting in North Carolina. This sparked a barrage of criticism from European politicians.
Zelenskyy and Putin have not held any talks since February 2022, when Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
