"Russia Is Simply Doomed"

A "Z-patriot" has predicted that a severe banking crisis will hit Russia very soon.
Well-known Russian Z-blogger Maksim Kalashnikov is convinced that a financial crisis awaits Russia in the near future. The general public and businesses are already withdrawing cash from banks en masse. The propagandist writes about this on his Telegram blog, as reported by Dialog.UA.
“Citizens are withdrawing money from banks in cash. This could lead to a banking crisis. And it’s clear to me that this isn’t just a result of the government’s Internet shenanigans, but also fear of deposits potentially being converted into debt bonds to plug the growing budget deficit, which has already exceeded 8.6 trillion rubles. But the consequences threaten to be severe. And businesses are holding onto their cash rather than depositing it in banks. Because of this, the banking multiplier is beginning to collapse,” Kalashnikov wrote.
He openly states that the cause of these events is the war of attrition in which the country is mired and which the Kremlin categorically refuses to end.
“In a protracted war, the Russian Federation is simply doomed. It has far less money than the EU, which provides loans and subsidies to Kyiv. Well, there you have it—the results. Against this backdrop, the only option left is to call up reservists, thereby increasing the deficit of the treasury, the Social Fund, and regional budgets by trillions all at once. And making the conversion of citizens’ deposits into government bonds inevitable… This means there will be a significant contraction of the banking multiplier… In short, everything is moving toward ‘difficult decisions,’ Kalashnikov stated.”
