The Ukrainian Armed Forces Struck Russia's Only Military Spaceport, Where The "Sarmat" Is Being Tested

The Plesetsk Space Launch Site in the Arkhangelsk Region has been attacked.

Ukrainian drones carried out one of the longest-range strikes on Russian territory, targeting the Russian Federation’s main military spaceport.

We’re talking about the Plesetsk Cosmodrome, where the aggressor nation has repeatedly tested the “Sarmat” intercontinental ballistic missile and from which it has launched “Soyuz-2” and “Angara” rockets carrying military satellites and spacecraft from the “Rassvet” orbital constellation, which the enemy views as an alternative to Starlink.

This is reported by the Supernova+ monitoring Telegram channel.

“Plesetsk, Arkhangelsk Oblast. Preliminary reports indicate that the Plesetsk Cosmodrome has been attacked,” reads the caption beneath the published footage, taken from a distance, which shows smoke rising above the targeted facility.

The Plesetsk Cosmodrome is of particular importance to Russia’s military infrastructure.
