Moscow And The Leningrad Region Under Drone Attack: Fire At The Port Of Ust-Luga

UAVs launched a massive attack on the Russian capital.

On the night of August 14 and the morning of that day, Moscow and the Leningrad Region were attacked by drones. As a result of the attacks, damage and a fire were reported in the area of one of the ports.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing Russian Telegram channels.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin wrote on his social media accounts that the drone attack began as early as 11:44 p.m., and that air defense forces had allegedly shot down two drones flying toward the Russian capital.

By around 6 a.m., Sobyanin wrote that another 10 drones had been shot down. However, this post did not specify that these were drones heading toward Moscow. That is, it cannot be ruled out that these drones reached the city.

Also during the night, the governor of the Leningrad Region Alexander Drozděnko came under attack. According to his post, the attack on the region began at 2:53 a.m. By 6:21 a.m., 51 drones had reportedly been shot down.

“Damage has been reported in the area of the port of Ust-Luga... As a result of the damage, a fire was reported at the port,” the posts stated.
