What makes it special.
A new Ukrainian underwater drone was unveiled for the first time at the Eurosatory 2026 international defense exhibition in Paris. This was reported by Naval News.
The Sea Trident ST-1000 is a long-range autonomous underwater vehicle capable of delivering up to 1,000 kilograms of explosives to strategic targets at sea.
It was designed for modern maritime operations where low visibility and full autonomy are essential. Thanks to its low visibility and ability to move underwater at depths of up to 5 meters, the drone can covertly penetrate areas controlled by the enemy.
The Sea Trident ST-1000 can perform several key tasks:
- strike operations using the kamikaze drone principle;
- delivery of cargo and munitions;
- interception and destruction of other underwater drones;
- transportation of FPV drones.
The Sea Trident ST-1000 has a steel oval hull. Thanks to its compact size, the vehicle fits into a standard shipping container, which facilitates its transport by road.

- height – 1.5 meters (without mast);
- weight – 10 metric tons; range – 3,704 kilometers;
- speed – 6 knots (cruising), 10 knots (maximum);

The new drone is manufactured by the Ukrainian company Global Mark. Previously, the company was known primarily for its unmanned aerial vehicles and powerful electronic warfare (EW) systems.
