Apparently, they were coming to Minsk.
During talks with the governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov, Lukashenko spoke about a meeting with representatives of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that allegedly took place at his residence.
“Representatives of Zelenskyy were here recently. I told them straight out: ‘Guys, tell your President: if he thinks he can talk to us like this and drag us into a war, then he needs to understand that the nature of the war will change instantly. This war will be completely different,’ Lukashenko allegedly told the Ukrainians.
According to him, there was allegedly a response to this:
“The President and they understand this. So let’s negotiate, guys. We need to reach a substantive agreement.”
As a reminder, on Friday, June 19, Volodymyr Zelenskyy demanded that the Lukashenko regime to remove drone relay stations within a week—those located in Belarus’s border regions and used by Russia to coordinate attacks on Ukrainian territory.
“Can he take them down? I think a week will be enough for him to do it. If he doesn’t, we’ll do it ourselves,” Zelenskyy said.
Yesterday, June 24, Zelenskyy stated that the relay stations had ceased operations.
