Zelenskyy Reveals Details Of The Russian Attack On The Lavra

Russian drones were deliberately flying toward this part of Kyiv.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russian aggressors deliberately launched drones at the part of Kyiv where the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and the Mystetskyi Arsenal are located.

Zelenskyy wrote about this on Telegram on Monday, June 15.

“It has been confirmed that two Russian drones deliberately attacked the part of the city where the Lavra and the Mystetskyi Arsenal are located,” Zelenskyy noted.

He also wrote that 35 people are currently known to have been injured in Kyiv. In total, 11 people were killed and another 53 were injured across Ukraine as a result of the massive Russian strike.

Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine is “in constant communication” regarding the consequences of the Russian attack and the necessary response.

“It is important that national leaders, public figures, and international organizations do not remain silent. I have instructed the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and our entire diplomatic team to intensify all contacts with partners as much as possible today so that international events this week and next yield tangible results to strengthen our defense and increase global pressure on Russia over this war. A just response to this Russian strike is needed,” emphasized Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
