Russia continues to use Belarusian airspace to launch drone strikes against Ukraine, said Andriy Demchenko, spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS), during a televised marathon .
- Last night (June 15 — ed.), the enemy’s tactics remained unchanged: drones enter from Russian territory and then move along the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, — quotes a representative of the border guard service, as reported by the news agency "Ukrinform." — Some of the drones are crossing into Belarusian airspace and using it to penetrate further into Ukraine, specifically through the Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions, and then moving toward the western regions.
According to Demchenko, a significant number of drones were detected last night within the Chernihiv and Kyiv regions. For the most part, they were not moving westward but primarily toward Kyiv.
The spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service emphasized that currently, no buildup of Russian or Belarusian forces is being observed directly along the Ukrainian border, and there are no signs of a strike force being formed.
