The Ukrainian army was the first in the world to switch to their systematic use.

The war in Ukraine is rapidly transforming into a technological war. Cheap drones and robotic systems, rather than tanks and artillery systems, are playing a key role in it. This is according to a recent CNN piece.

Ukrainian units now routinely conduct operations without direct infantry involvement, controlling equipment from underground command centers far from the front. Combat operations are gradually shifting to a remote format, which allows for the preservation of men.

Special attention is being paid to the use of ground robots. They are often used for assault missions, ammunition delivery and casualty evacuation. RNCs allow to increase the efficiency of operations, but above all - to preserve personnel.

The introduction of robotic platforms, as Ukrainian fighters themselves note, changes the nature of combat operations. Ukraine has managed to achieve a decisive advantage over the Russian Federation in this context.
