Ukraine is preparing new long-range operations on Russian territory.
Ukraine's President Vladimir Zelensky said in an evening address.
The president said the new operations are aimed at increasing pressure on Russia and changing its approach to war.
He emphasized that Russia should feel the losses for continued aggression.
"This is what is needed to make Russia feel that they will have to pay for the war with their losses. Russia's oil industry will continue to shrink if Russia chooses war," Zelensky said.
He said the Russian leadership is trying to compensate for losses on the front.
Zelensky also reported signs of hidden mobilization in Russia.
He said Russia is sending out mobilization orders, holding military training camps and increasing recruitment of people into the army.
The president also reported on the report of the Security Service of Ukraine on internal security issues.
He said that Ukraine continues operations against persons helping the enemy.
Separately, Zelensky stressed that air defense remains a priority.
He also reported on the preparation of a joint format with the European Union on drones and the visit of representatives of the US Congress.
