The US president said Tehran is now ready directly to settle the conflict, but Washington does not like the terms sought by the Iranian authorities. In addition, the President of the United States noted that he is not satisfied with the option in which Iran would receive an easing of US restrictions in exchange for the transfer of Iran's stockpile of highly enriched uranium. According to the draft memorandum, Iran will undertake to restore commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz to pre-war levels within a month.
