What does the Slovak prime minister plan to do?
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitzo has said that Lithuania and Latvia have banned his plane from flying through their territory to Moscow for the May 9 parade.
This is reported by Charter97.org with reference to the official's video message on Facebook.
"Lithuania and Latvia have already informed us that they will not allow a flight through their territory on the way to Moscow," the Slovak prime minister said.
He added that he would find another route for his flight, noting that he had already used a similar scheme a year earlier, when he was "torpedoed by Estonia."
It is worth recalling that in 2025, Fitzo also came to Russia to "celebrate" May 9, and also met with Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin. In addition, Serbian President Alexander Vucic was also in Moscow then. They were both the only guests from Europe in Russia at the level of heads of state.
