Ukraine To Receive Largest Ever Batch Of British Combat Drones

Delivery has already begun.
The UK will transfer 120,000 drones to Ukraine, which is the largest such delivery in history.
The massive arms delivery to the Ukrainian army was announced by British Defense Minister John Healey, BBC reports.
The package will include:
long-range strike drones;
reconnaissance drones;
logistical support drones;
drones with maritime capabilities.
It is noted that many of these drones will be produced by British companies.
The delivery of "advanced combat technologies" has already begun, the Ministry of Defense said.
Commenting, Healey said that "in recent weeks, with the focus on the Middle East, Putin wants us to be distracted":
"The Ukrainians continue to fight with great courage and nothing will distract us from continuing to support them for as long as it takes to achieve peace."
Financial aid from Britain
British Finance Minister Rachel Reeves is also expected to announce support measures for Ukraine at a future meeting of finance ministers in Washington.
This will include a £752 million ($970 million) payment to Kiev as part of a larger £3.36 billion ($4.4 billion) loan.
"This funding will help provide Ukraine with the military equipment it needs to defend itself against Russia," Reeves commented.

The announcement of the delivery of British drones followed Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky saying that U.S. peace deal negotiators have "no time for Ukraine" because of the war with Iran.
There had previously been several rounds of talks involving the US as a mediator, but the process was put on hold after Donald Trump turned his attention to the Middle East.
