Ukraine Prepares Legal Action Against Hungary

Foreign Ministry spokesman Georgy Tykhiy said that Ukraine is preparing legal action against Hungary over money seized from Oschadbank collection vehicles.

"In Ukraine, we say, 'The hat burns on the thief.' It means 'A guilty conscience does not need an accuser.' This is exactly the case. We are waiting for the return of the stolen funds and are preparing concrete legal actions. And we will also demand justice and accountability," he wrote on his page in X.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó said Budapest was "still waiting for an answer" regarding the movement of funds through the country.
