Julianne Moore Showed Off Her Unique Apartment With A Rooftop Terrace

The actress transformed her two-level home into a stylish gallery.

Hollywood actress Julianne Moore showed off her two-level apartment with a rooftop terrace in New York City’s Greenwich Village neighborhood. The interior combines works of art, unusual light fixtures, vintage details, and practical solutions for a small space, writes People (translation by Charter97.org).

Moore called her home “one of the most beautiful apartments in New York.” The space is filled with natural light, and the interior resembles an art gallery, where the furnishings themselves become part of the decor.

The light fixtures by Japanese artist and designer Isamu Noguchi hold a special place. The actress compared them to light sculptures: “You can actually have a sculpture made of light in your home.”

Storage has also been thoughtfully planned in the apartment. In the kitchen, Moore uses an open metal shelving unit for dishes. Its industrial look blends with softer textures and art pieces, creating an interior that doesn’t feel like an exhibition hall.

When designing a small space, the actress pays attention to the little things. “The details are really, really important,” she said.
