In The Perm Krai Of The Russian Federation, Ukrainian Drones "finished Off" A Factory Producing Explosives

The Azot plant, located 1,500 km from the border with Ukraine, has been hit.

On the morning of October 23, Ukrainian UAVs, having flown approximately 1,500 km, attacked strategic targets in Russia’s Perm Krai. According to preliminary reports, the Ukrainian Defense Forces targeted the Azot chemical plant in the city of Berezniki, writes Dialog.UA, based on social media monitoring.

A drone threat in the Perm Krai was declared on October 23 at approximately 4:53 a.m. Moscow time. Perm Airport suspended operations. Shortly thereafter, the first “loud explosions” were heard in the city of Berezniki.

Local residents claim that Ukrainian UAVs attacked the “Azot” chemical plant. Traffic toward the plant was blocked. A video was published by the Telegram channel Exilenova+.

Later that morning, four more “loud bangs, resembling explosions,” were heard in Berezniki. The attack continued throughout the morning. Local residents reported seeing black smoke rising from the “Azot” plant, which was “drifting toward the city.”

As of this writing, Perm Krai Governor Dmitry Makhonin has not yet commented on the situation in the region. Berezniki Mayor Alexey Kazachenko has also remained silent. The “Azot” plant is part of Russia’s military-industrial complex (it produces substances necessary for explosives), so it is a legitimate target for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Ukrainian UAVs have already struck it several times, for example, on the night of September 11, 2026.
