The Iranian Currency Has Fallen To A Record Low

The rial plummeted to 2.5 million per dollar.

The exchange rate of the Iranian rial against the U.S. dollar has fallen to a new all-time low. This was reported by the Associated Press.

According to the publication, the Iranian rial plummeted to 2.5 million per U.S. dollar, which “clearly demonstrated” how the war in the Middle East is steadily undermining the Iranian economy. This latest collapse came just 27 days after the rial hit its previous record low of 2.2 million to the dollar on September 2.
