A 19-year-old conscript is believed to have died near Gomel. The incident occurred at a military unit in Zyabrovka, according to human rights activists from “Gomel Spring.”

According to Telegram channels, the young man’s name was Nikita Gusev. It is reported that he was pinned against a tree by an armored personnel carrier. The young man was taken to the hospital, but doctors were unable to save his life.

Zyabrovka is a village 10 kilometers from Gomel. Nearby is a former military airfield for strategic aviation, built in the 1950s. After the start of Russia’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine, Russian military personnel and military equipment were stationed at this airfield.
