Trump Allowed The Transfer Of A Patriot Missile License To Ukraine

Washington and Kyiv are “in talks about this”

Ukraine may receive a license from the U.S. for an earlier version of the missiles used in the Patriot air defense systems. This was stated by U.S. President Donald Trump aboard Air Force One while en route from Ireland to the U.S.

Responding to a question from reporters about the possibility of granting Kyiv a license to produce ammunition for the Patriot system, the U.S. leader said that Washington and Kyiv are “in talks about this.” He explained that the discussion concerns “less advanced versions” of these interceptors.
