The CIA Director's "Mysterious" Plane Took Off From Vnukovo

He is on his way to Riga.

A military transport U.S. Air Force Boeing C-17 Globemaster III with tail number RCH4555 took off from Vnukovo Airport, according to FlightRadar24 data.

It is headed to Riga.

CBS and Axios, citing sources, previously reported that CIA Director John Ratcliffe had arrived in Russia. CBS reporter Jennifer Jacobs clarified that Ratcliffe traveled to Russia aboard a C-17 military transport aircraft.

Sources described the purpose of the visit as “meetings in Moscow”. The last time the CIA director visited Russia was nearly five years ago—in November 2021.
