The suspected hitman was arrested in Warsaw.
Ukrainian vlogger and rapper Kyivstoner (Kyivstoner, real name Albert Vasilyev) may have been targeted by a hitman working on behalf of Russian intelligence services while in Poland, according to RMF FM.
According to the Polish publication, the alleged perpetrator, a native of Donbas, was detained by police officers with the assistance of Poland’s Internal Security Agency.
According to Polish law enforcement officials and journalists, Vasilyev came under the scrutiny of Russian intelligence agencies due to accusations by the FSB that he organized and oversaw the logistics of drone shipments to the Moscow region. It was alleged that the drones were intended to be used for attacks on strategic targets in Moscow and its environs.
Presumably, the drones were to be transported from Slovakia through Poland and Belarus. Subsequently, Russian authorities added the musician to a list of individuals involved in extremist and terrorist activities.
